do you ever discover a new band
and realize the lead singer/guitarist
just spent two years living out of a van
and driving across the country
to experiment with songwriting
aka he drove across the country
to write songs on the road
and as you listen to their music
you can’t believe how you lived
without it for so long
and also you feel more creatively fulfilled
than you have in a long time
and also you wish you had a quarter
of the talent and passion that dude has
me either
on the other hand
i’ve never been more artistically inspired
putting down the rope
